CoolxDad + premiumGoods New collection

Shop the new premiumgoods collection + support CoolxDad’s mission

New collab just dropped.

As part of its partnership with Hennessy and the NBA’s Game-On Experience, Houston’s very own sneaker boutique, creative hub, and brand destination premiumgoods is supporting CoolxDad’s mission through a brand-new collection, launching today.

Premiumgoods’ founder Jennifer Ford-Starling believes in the same things we do: community, partnerships, and supporting good causes in creative ways. So when Hennessy reached out to premiumgoods for its initiative celebrating the game of basketball and giving back, she reached out to us.

The collection is streetwear meets sportswear, and includes a mesh jersey and shorts, a coach jacket, a duffle bag, and a T-shirt. A percentage of the proceeds will go to CoolxDad to support our programming, which includes community initiatives geared toward eliminating absentee fatherhood in underserved communities, interview series propping up engaged fathers, and educational outreach on topics including financial literacy and mental health. We also regularly host events (like a free family portrait day on Nov. 28!) and gift drives.

You can only shop the collection in-store.

CoolxDad is all about staying authentic and culturally relevant, while creating a healthy community of supportive fathers,” said CoolxDad founder Kevin Barnett. “This collab is a fresh, all-around Houston way of doing that. We can’t wait to see people decked out in these clothes, knowing that they’re also supporting positive narratives of fatherhood and the next generation of Houston youth. Huge thanks to premiumgoods and Hennessy for supporting us in style.”

About the collection:

Basketball is our favorite team sport. To play well, every player has to trust one another, think fast on their feet, and contribute something toward a greater mission. This collection is an embodiment of those ideals, especially since four organizations are coming together to make it happen.

It’s also an extension of the basketball lifestyle: Think workout clothes that make working out look really good.

Inspired by vintage middle and high school basketball uniforms, the jersey and shorts both bring mesh into the 21st century. Pair that with the jacket and the duffel bag before you get in the gym, and hit up the locker room to switch it out for the fresh T-shirt when the game is over.

Shop the collection at premiumgoods’ store at 2416 Times Blvd. Feel good knowing that a percentage of the proceeds are benefitting Houston’s dads and their families.
